DESCRIPTION:
This equipment comprises of a Axial Flow Fan coupled to a DC Motor. Power input to the DC Motor is varied by means of a Thyristor controlled DC Drive to vary the RPM of motor. A RPM Indicator with
Proximity sensor indicates the RPM of Axial Fan. A Pitot Tube with manometer is provided in the delivery line of Axial fan for static and dynamic and differential pressure measurement.
EXPERIMENTATION:
- To find out the discharge, head and efficiency of the Axial Fan
- To plot the graph Efficiency Vs Discharge
- To plot the graph Discharge Vs Head
UTILITIES REQUIRED:
- Electricity Supply: Single Phase, 220V AC, 50 Hz, 5-15 amp. Combined socket with earth
- connection.
- Floor Area : 2.5 x 0.75 m.
