Pensky Martens Flash Point Tester Closed Type

As per IP 34     ASTM D- 93, IS 1448 ( P-21 )

Used for determination of flash point of petroleum products having a flash point above 490C(1200)F. The apparatus consists of a cast iron stove fitted with a  polished brass cover, a brass cup with cover which contains the test flame arrangement, shutter mechanism and stirrer ( Hand operated and a heating arrangement. For gas heated type a meker burner with a wire net is used. For electrically heated model a rectangular heater with an energy regulator or a regulator or a round heater controlled by an energy regulator set in a separate box is used.
