DESCRIPTION(Accessory for JICRE-1023a):
The set-up is mounted on the base plate and easily can be installed on the chemical reactor service unit for conducting experiments. The reactor is coiled tube type Plug Flow Reactor and is placed in a vessel. Hot water is circulated in the vessel at constant temperature, which enables to enhance the experimentations for different temperature. Reactants are fed to reactor from the bottom and samples are drawn from the top of the outlet of the rector. Process is monitored by conductivity changes.

  • To study the effect of variation of conversion with residence time.
  • To determine the reaction rate constant.
  • To study the residence time distribution.
  • To evaluate empirical rate expressions from experimental data. 
UTILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Chemical Reactor Service Unit (CRE-1023Ca).

Reactor Material Stainless Steel, Capacity 0.4 Ltrs. Ltrs. (approx)
Piping PVC.
Whole assembly is fixed on a base plate, which can be installed on service unit.
An ENGLISH instruction manual consisting of experimental procedures, block diagram etc. will be provided along with the Apparatus
The whole set-up is well designed and arranged on a rigid structure painted with industrial PU Paint.
