Used to determine the kinematic viscosity of oil and other viscous liquids. The viscometers are of several types-Ostwald. Cannon fenske, Suspended level and made of corning glass. The dimensions of capillary tubes and other parts of the viscometers are according to the specification specifying different size Nos. Both direct and reverse flow types are available and all the viscometers are standardized with known viscometer constant.
