  • Ore Trinocular Microscope is a principal piece of polarising microscope fitted with reflected & transmitted light illuminators used by Geologists to observe the optical properties of minerals. It has indispensable applications for Petrography, Crystallography, Geology or finding stress points in metal, glass textiles, etc. It permits orthoscopically or conoscopically to examine and identify the structures of material with highly resolved distinctive images under various magnifications.
  • Stand - Large rectangular heavy stable base with electrical fittings concealed inside.
  • Body - The Microscope is having Trinocular head with 45° inclined observation tube
  • Nosepiece - Precise quadruple revolving nosepiece with precise centering and positive click stops, ensures accurate position of the objectives
  • Stage - Compact ball-bearing centerable rotating stage, 140mm diameter, graduated with vernier, lock and two stage specimen clips.
  • Focussing - By vertical movement of stage, coarse adjustment by rack-pinion knobs and fine movement by screw-lever mechanism driven by graduated knobs
  • Illuminator - Koehler's transmitted illuminator with pre-centred 20W tungsten halogen source and integral electric transformer with intensity control is concealed inside the base. Input voltage 220V or 110 Volts.
  • Incident Illuminator - Reflected light incident illuminator consits of a polarizing unit, slot for filter holders and a 20 Watt. intensity control transformer is provided externally.
  • Intermediate Optical Tube - Built-in focussable Bertrand lens with centre adjustable. Built-in analyzer removable from optical path. Analyzer can be rotated 90° with a vernier reading to 6'. Compensator λ and λ/4 can be inserted in the tube as per requirement.
  • Compensator - λ-Gypsum Plate (1st order red compensating plate 560 nanometers) & λ/4- Mica Plate (145 nanometers).
  • Objectives - Semi-plan flat Achromatic DIN Objectives P4x / 0.10, P10x / 0.25 and P40x / 0.65 SL.
  • Eyepieces - Widefield eyepieces WF 10x (Paired) and WF 10x with cross.
  • Polarizer - Fully rotatable swing-out Polarizer and an abbe-condenser N.A. 1.25 with iris-diaphragm. 
  • Accessories - Vinyl Cover, Duster, Cleaning Brush, Filter, Spare Bulb, Fuse and Operating Instructions Manual.
  • Packing - In full mould Styrofoam / Thermocol Container.
