For determination of viscosity of all oils the viscosity of which at the temperature of test exceeds 2000 Seconds.

GAS HEATED TYPE

The apparatus consists of a heavily silver plated brass oil cup with a precision stainless steel jet assembled in a copper bath fitted with two heating tubes and drain cock. The bath stirrer is fitted with a thermometer collar and stirrer knob, Bath stirrer are finished in highly finished chromium plating The bath is mounted on a steel sheet stand finished in grey hammer-tone outside and white inside with leveling feet. Accessories supplied with the instrument include a silver plated ball valve. spirit level cup cover and chromium plated thermometer clip The cup and bath of No 2 viscometer are bigger than those of No 1.. Similar to above. Only the side tubes are replaced by a 1000 watts immersion heater.
