Lab Aqua Soft Water Softener softens the hard water and provides good quality water for use in laboratories and in various chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
Lab Aqua Soft Water Softener are based on Ion Exchange Technology and consists of a specially imported resin. The charged resin removes all the calcium and magnesium ions in hard water and the soft water thus obtained has hardness less than 5 ppm as CaCO3. The specially designed multiport valve takes care of service, regeneration and rinsing. When the resin is exhausted, it has to be regenerated with sodium chloride solution.

Applications:
The softened water can be used,
- As Feed water to distillers- The use of hard water in boilers, would leave the boiler with a lot of scaling and sedimentation, hence to improve the quality of the distillate and for longer life of theglass/quartz/S.S boilers, softened water can be used
- For Cooling water Make-up
- In Textile processing and in Tanneries
- In Food and Beverages production
- As feed water to Nitrogen distillers, Autoclaves, Water baths, etc.,
- In Laboratories and Research Institutes
- In Hotels, Hospitals and Laundries
Note:
- Output is based on 100 ppm input hardness as CaCO3.
- Output between regeneration and maximum flow rate depends on feed water hardness.
- Higher capacity plants can be designed and supplied as per the specifications.
- M.S and S.S vessels can also be supplied on request at extra cost.
- For LAS 600 Model, the vessel is made up of FRP.
