The set-up is mounted on the base plate and easily can be installed on the chemical reactor service unit for conducting experiments. The reactor is coiled tube type Plug Flow Reactor and is placed in a vessel. Reactants are fed to reactor from the bottom and samples are drawn from the top of the outlet of the rector.
EXPERIMENTATION:
- To study the effect of variation of conversion with residence time.
- To determine the reaction rate constant.
- To study the residence time distribution.
- To evaluate empirical rate expressions from experimental data.
