DESCRIPTION:
Cone types Classifiers are one of the oldest types. The conical vessel has angle of 60°. The feed is fed from the top. Water is passed at a controlled velocity. The coarse solids travel down the sides and can be removed from the bottom. Fine particles are separated by over flow. Bottom product tank is provided with the setup.
EXPERIMENTATION:
- To determine the separation efficiency of given Classifier.
- To determine the effect of velocity on separation efficiency.
